Based on over 20 years of experience in classroom trainings we created the UBE Academy Blended Learning Journeys. This innovative format allows the participants to integrate the learning into their daily job routine. Learning in small steps with 30 – 60 minutes daily effort over a longer period of time supports the sustainability and long-term effect of the learning.
Key element of the programs is the combination of self-paced learning elements with instructor-led coaching sessions for answering specific questions and for the transfer of the learning.
How does it work?
After enrolling into a course our participants will receive access to the UBE Academy Learning Experience Platform. This platform serves as the central communication tool between the learners and our experienced trainers.
On this platform you can access the learning elements for the week. The theoretical concepts of the learning will be delivered in short and graphically animated learning videos. It is then your turn to test and deepen your understanding with quizzes and exercises that you will prepare upon your own scheduled time. You can plan about 30 – 60 min each day for your individual learning success.
Once per week you will meet virtually for a coaching session with your trainers and your learning group by using standard audio-visual communication tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. In these coaching sessions the trainers will give additional explanation for the learning subject of the week. Also, you will receive support in applying the learning to your daily jobs and be able to learn from the other participants.
The entire learning journey is supported with ongoing communication and exchanges between the trainers and the participants on our UBE Academy Learning Experience Platform.
Why do we believe that blended learning journeys are the format of the future?
For many learning targets, classic block-based classroom trainings are not efficient, and the learning is often not sustainable. Modern, digital communication technologies allow us to break down the learning into smaller steps creating an integrated learning journey that seamlessly blends self-paced elements with instructor led phases.
Maintaining a group structure keeps the learner motivated and allows for peer learning and direct exchange with your learning partners.
